Sketchbook Project – Page Preview 2 – – Fashion Design for Monsters
The Sketchbook Project asks artists of all levels to complete a small book with ideas, drawings and sketches. I recently completed my sketchbook and below a preview page can be seen. My book is called ‘Fashion Design For Monsters’. It has this title as several of the sketches involve fashion designs for different types of monster. There are also comic book pages and some text in my sketchbook. The below image is a badly taken photograph of the front cover.
To This Day Project
I was recently involved in creating an animation for a project called To This Day. This was an anti bullying initiative from the Canadian Poet Shane Koyczan (who I saw at the Edinburgh Fringe last year- He was fantastic).
The brief was to anime a short section of one of his poems (To This Day) and then clips from various animators will be edited together. This was my first piece of animation for a while and my first piece of Machinima animation since 2008.
Below is the final video. My clip unfortunately got edited out, however my name is still in the credits and my animation can be viewed at this link.

Noise Project – Week 1 – The Pulse
The Noise Project – Noise Intercepted – My new Art Project
I’m taking part in a project called Noise Intercepted.
Basically I’m given a noise challenge every week for 10 weeks and I have to respond to it creatively. I’ve received the first challenge and I’m on my way.
Here is a link to the project homepage:
http://thenoiseproject.net/
And here is some information taken from the Noise Project website given some more information on the project itself:
Noise Intercepted is a series of ten experience-activated noise challenges that prompt participants to listen, observe and interact with their urban soundscape in new and unlikely ways.
The project brings together over 200 collaborators from 28 countries around the globe — artists, sound ecologists, designers, writers, mothers, fathers, educators, filmmakers, administrators, technicians, scientists, students, programmers, health practitioners, and the list goes on.
Over the course of four months (March – June 2013), participants will be sent (via text msg & email) a series of ten noise challenges and creative prompts.
They have exactly 1-week to respond to each challenge and share their findings here with you.
And here is a direct link to my page for Noise Intercepted. You can view my work on there when I post it up.

Poetry and Paint Exhibition – Dunny Toys and Poetry
I have several pieces of artwork and poetry displaying at an event in London on 30th of March 2013. The event is called Poetry and Paint and is being organised by Carmina Masoliver . I am exhibiting 2 custom made Dunny toys along with two commissioned poems to go with the work. There is also an anthology book which will be released at the Poetry and Paint event, in which I will have images of the Dunny’s along with the poems, plus another image and poem. The image is of a large pastel drawing I completed a few months ago and a poem in relation to the imagery.
Below have included a poster for the event and also the name tags for the Dunny’s. I will post up images of the Dunny’s after the event.
