Ideas Tap Profile
I have a profile at Ideas Tap. This is a social network for young creatives, where I am far too old to take part in a lot of the commissions. Never the less I have uploaded some work here and occasionally I blog over there as a break from here. My profile can be viewed here.
Blogging for The Flaneur
I have been doing a seperate blog over at The Flaneur. Here I have reviewed spoken word shows during the Edinburgh Fringe. I also plan on writing some other articles. The Flaneur is an arts and culture blog. I have been asked to review art in Edinburgh as well as SpokenWord and Literature.
My articles can be read here
.
Postcards3
Some new postcards. These may be part of a bigger project which I might develop if I have time.
Write a poem on several postcards. Have the poem with a structure that is not linear. Give the postcards out to different Papergirl events. Have the recipients post the poem postcards back. The order in which the postcards arrive dictate the structure of the poem. Then exhibit the postcards in a gallery. A new mail art project? Maybe if I get the time, but something for the future.
Theatre Reviews for The Skinny
The Skinny is an arts and culture magazine in Edinburgh. During the Fringe Festival I got a job reviewing some theatre for the magazine. Some of my reviews can be read here.
Postcards2
Here are some new examples of the postcards I have created. These examples show illustration but also text. The text is from a short story. I don’t plan to publish the story so I thought I’d add it to this art project and maybe give ti away to a Papergirl event in the future. A couple of the earlier images made their way to Papergirl Calgary.
