Here’s an image I created recently. Thought I’d take a break form life drawing and anatomy and create something different. The text carries on from the text form the Polaroid Pictures. Little poems to counter balance the image.

Live- 3
The third image in the Live Project. It looks a bit like a Polaroid picture. I’ve decided to combine these two projects for a couple of images.

This image is a combination of the two.
The image is of Rachel Sermanni and was taken at the Fence Records HomeGame Festival in Anstruther in Fife back in May.
Comic Strip in FutureQuake #18
I have a comic strip published in the new issue of the comic book Sci-fi anthology FutureQuake. The story is called Social Engagement eXperiment and was illustrated by Will Pickering. I am the scriptwriter for the story.
I wrote this several years ago and pitched it to 2000AD at the Birmingham International Comics Show in 2008. They were interested but never took it. After several re-writes I sent the script to FutureQuake press. I am a big fan of their comics and thought they might like the story.
Another few re-writes later, they accepted the script, where they paired me up with Will Pickering who done an excellent job in illustrating the story.
I’m so excited about seeing this in print as it was a long slog to finally getting it published. I am also a huge fan of FutureQuake, so it is great to see my work in there next to other fantastic writers and artists. Hopefully this will be a spring board to kick start my comic book writing.
Without Boarders Exhibition – The Point Eastleigh – Update
I have some artwork on display in Eastleigh. The venue of the exhibition is called The Point. The work in display is some 3D Graffiti.

Guerrilla Gallery 9th July
I will have some artwork exhibited at a Guerrilla Gallery event in Dundee on the 9th of July. A poster for this is below. The work I will have exhibited includes the Polaroid Pictures I have been creating.
This exhibition is very cool and will be similar to the last Guerrilla Gallery, where the artwork was projected onto a wall inside the Tayside Recyclers building. I may take my camera along with me and take some photographs.
Berlin Lomography Photos1
Here’s some lomography photographs taken with my new Octomat camera. It’s a multi-lens camera with 8 lenses. It takes 8 images over 2 seconds. Kind of life a mini animation.
Polaroid Picture Illustration – 3
The third Polaroid Picture illustration and with this one I thought I’d do something a bit different. I’m getting sick of drawing people so I thought I squirrel might be nice. This has gone up on my portfolio as well as being posted here. The next one will be posted in a few weeks.
At the moment I’ve pretty much got 2 ideas on the go. The Polaroid Pictures and the Live music Illustrations. I plan to create a flash based presentation/website for each of these projects and post them on my portfolio.
