Silence – new short animated documentary trailer

I have recently completed a new short animated documentary called Silence. The film is currently being sent out to film festivals (I don’t expect it to screen anywhere until next year). Below is the trailer and also a synopsis. Please get in contact if you would like to arrange a screening.

Synopsis

Silence is an experimental short animated documentary that looks at activism, imagery and protest when you are a mute person. Protest and activism is loud, but when you are LGBT+, disabled and mute, you need to take a different approach when getting your voice heard. Silence draws on the evocative slogans and images of protest badges and presents how they can give a voice to people.
Silence uses animation, sound, quietness and narration to tell a passionate story of defiance and disobedience when at times you cannot speak.

This is a comic zine that deals with the topic of rejection in an interesting and different way.
The zine is a scrunched up ball of paper. On one side is a comic, on the other is a poem.
The zine covers themes of rejection and is scrunched up into a ball to reflect this. The ball is unfurled and the zine can be read.

Each issue comes with a Weird Proud – Pin Badge Button (38mm (1.5inches) in size).
