My short film Keith is nominated for the Best of British Award at the Iris Prize 2026. The event will take place in Cardiff in October 2026, with a screening as part of a short film programme on Friday 16 October. Keith is the Scottish nomination, after winning the FIlmhouse Queer Film Prize 2026. This will be the second time I have been nominated for the Iris Prize, after Dix Pix in 2019.
Keith will now go on to screen on Film 4 and be available to watch online at Channel 4 until October 2027.
My short film Keith has won the Filmhouse Queer Film Prize 2026. The award was presented in June after a screening of queer short films made in Scotland. This means the Keith will be the Scottish nomination for the Iris Prize 2026. I am delighted to have won this award and was not expecting it. This is the fourth award that Keith has picked up.
I have recently started writing for a Movie and Fashion magazine called White Coffee. I am concentrating on Style Icon pieces, where I write about stylish actors and actresses and the movies they are in. I am also going to write a few classic movie reviews.
So far I have published two Style Icon articles – Antonio Banderas in ‘The Skin I live In’ and Vincent Gallo in ‘Buffalo 66’.
